What services are available on the Architects' Portal?
In the Personal Area you can consult and update your personal data, as well as obtain and print all the Documents you request from OA.
In the Secretariat Area you can request the issue of Generic or Specific Declarations, as well as Certificates for the exercise of the acts of the profession, both in Portugal and abroad. You can also fill in the appropriate Requests to change your registration status with OA.
In the Treasury Area you can check your current account with regard to the status of membership dues and other payments, as well as make payments online.
In the Training Area you may consult the schedule of Training Courses to be held at OA's Regional Sections, register online and make the corresponding payment. You may also consult the Trainings you have attended in the last year and obtain the certificates of participation in them.

If you are an Architect, Full Member of the OA, you must register in the "Architects" field.
The Full Members of OA are considered to be all the Architects registered in OA with assigned membership number. All Full Members, whether their registration is active or suspended, are entitled to be registered in the Architects' Portal and to the services available online.
To register you need to have an e-mail account, OA's Member Number, Identification Document and Fiscal Identification Number. After registration, your access data will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.
If you are a Trainee Architect registered with OA, you must register in the "Trainee Architects" field.
Trainee Architects registered at OA are considered to be all candidates accepted to OA admission traineeship and who have already been assigned a Trainee Architect number.
To register you need to have an e-mail account, OA's Trainee Number, Identification Document and Tax Identification Number. After registration, your access data will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.
If you wish to submit an application for admission to OA, you must register in the "Applicants" field.
Before you start the application submission process, you should check your fit in the Admission area.
To register you need to have an e-mail account and ID. After registration, your access data will be sent to the e-mail you indicated.
The Identification Documents are one of the following: Identity Card, Citizen Card, Passport or European Card.
What is the registration e-mail?
To register in the Architects Portal you need to have an e-mail. The e-mail you indicate when you register will be the official means of communication with OA.
All requests you make through the Architects Portal will be confirmed to your registration e-mail.
Electronic communication will streamline the services provided by OA to Architects and Interned Architects.
If you need to change the registration e-mail, i.e., the e-mail that OA will use to communicate with the user of the Architects' Portal, you should select in your Personal Area the Personal Data option and proceed according to the instructions.
Is it mandatory to register me at the Architects Portal?
Yes.
Fulfilling the principles and rules to simplify the free access and exercise of service activities performed in national territory, provided for in Decree-Law 92/2010, of 26 July, article 22, no. 1 of Law 2/2013, of 10 January, established that all requests, communications and notifications related to the profession organized in a professional association between the association and the professional, professional society or service providers, with the exception of those related to disciplinary proceedings, must be made by electronic data transmission, through the single services counter, accessible on the website of the respective public association.
The implementation of this objective makes it mandatory for architects to register on the Architects' Portal.
Tendentially, online procedures are carried out in a shorter period of time, taking full advantage of digital communication, allowing OA to respond to your requests more effectively.

Does the OA face to face services no longer exist?
No.
The in person services at the Regional Sections and Delegations offices will be maintained within the hours defined and published on the websites of the respective Regional Sections.
The number of registered Architects in Portugal has been growing exponentially in the last years and OA has to excel in providing an excellent service to its members: the Architects' Portal responds to the real needs of Architects in the scope of the exercise of the profession's acts and the consequent need of regular communication with OA.
Is the change of my Personal Data via the Architects Portal automatic?
In the Personal Area, Architects and Interned Architects can edit their Personal Data.
Any change regarding Personal Data depends on validation by the OA secretariat. Therefore, validation and updating of changes may take up to 48 hours.
How to proceed to validate a document issued by OA via the Architects Portal?
All the documents issued by OA via the Portal dos Arquitectos, namely Generic or Specific Declarations and Certifications, have a Validation Code on the upper right corner. It is an alphanumeric code, composed by XX characters.
On www.ordemdosarquitectos.pt , in the "Validation Documents" option, you can confirm the validation of any document issued by OA via the Architects' Portal by entering your member number and validation code.
How to attach documents via the Architects Portal?
Some of the services available online require the presentation of documents by the user. In this case, the user must previously attach all the necessary documents, in PDF or PNG/JPEG format.
The Architects' Portal only allows you to send one file at a time. Sometimes it is necessary to send several files separately to each process.
You must keep with you all the originals of the documents you submit through the Portal of the Architects, in case there's a need of verification by the OA services.
What kind of documents can I obtain through the Architects Portal?
In your Personal Area, under Profile option, you will find a folder named Documents. This is the repository of all the documents you request from OA
Whether generic or specific declarations, certificates, notices of collection of quotas, payment receipts, certificates related to trainings carried out at OA, as well as declarations for IRS purposes, among others, they can be consulted, easily and quickly, through the Architects Portal.
Can I make payments through the Architects Portal?
The formalization of certain services available online depends on the payment of fees. In these situations, during the procedure, you will be informed of the amount to pay and the payment options available for settlement.
All the procedures that imply the payment of a certain amount are pending until it is paid. If you do not make your payment within 48 hours, your request will be considered null and void.
In your Personal Area, in the option Treasury, you can check your current account with regard to quotas. Also in this option you can pay your membership fee, and the ATM reference will be provided for that purpose, as well as the procedure to join the Direct Debit or bank transfer data.
Also in your Personal Area, in the Documents option, you can obtain receipts referring to all payments you have made.
I'm not registered at OA yet. Can I submit my application via Portal dos Arquitectos?
Yes.
At www.ordemdosarquitectos.pt in the Admission Area you should check the framework of your situation. For each of the frameworks you will find a summary of the procedures, as well as the list of all the necessary documentation to submit your application.
Then, you must register in the Architects Portal in the Candidates Area and follow the instructions.
