Privacy policy

Privacy and Data Protection Policy:

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation), guarantees the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data , with the respective execution in the national legal order ensured by Law n.º 58/2019, of 8 August.

The protection of privacy and personal data is a priority for the Order of Architects and a fundamental commitment to all those with whom it relates. The Order of Architects guarantees, under the terms of the legislation in force, the security and confidentiality of the personal data to which it may have access due to the activity it carries out, including data collected through portals, platforms, websites and services managed by it.

Under the terms of article 90 of the Statute of the Order of Architects, communication between the Order and interested parties, namely registered architects, trainees, candidates for admission, professionals from other States, service providers and companies is by electronic means, through the Balcão Único/Portal dos Arquitectos.

The Balcão Único/Portal dos Arquitectos allows the provision of a set of online services, guaranteeing restricted access to its users through a username and login.

The use of the Balcão Único/Portal dos Arquitectos implies the collection of personal data from users. By providing the respective personal data, the user agrees with the privacy policy defined in this document, namely authorizing the collection, use and disclosure of the same, within the strict scope of the inherent purposes and under the terms established by law.

Scope:

This privacy policy applies to the collection and processing of personal data by the Order of Architects within the scope of the Balcão Único/Portal dos Arquitectos.

Responsible for Treatment:

The Order of Architects, headquartered at Travessa do Carvalho, n.º 23, 1249-003 Lisbon, is the entity responsible for processing the personal data referred to in this document.

As the entity responsible for data processing, the Order of Architects guarantees that:

- The processing of data is carried out within the scope of the purposes for which they were collected;

Personal data:

Personal data is considered to be all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, being considered identifiable a natural person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data and identifiers electronically.

Purpose of collection and processing of personal data:

The personal data collected are intended for the management of the acts inherent in the use of the Balcão Único/Portal dos Arquitectos da Ordem dos Arquitectos.

Typology of data collected:

The personal data subject to processing are strictly necessary for the aforementioned purposes. Depending on the services provided, the following may be collected in particular: IP address, name, tax identification number, civil identification number, identification document number, address, email address, telephone number or mobile phone.

Data conservation:

Personal data are kept for the minimum period necessary for their processing, in accordance with the respective purpose and under the terms defined by law.

The Order of Architects uses a set of technologies and security procedures suitable for the protection of personal data.

Transfer of personal data to third parties:

The Order of Architects complies with the applicable legal provisions, namely ensuring, in the case of services subcontracted to third parties, that they are also strictly complied with by them.

Rights of holders of personal data:

Users may exercise, at any time, in relation to the data they hold, the rights of access, rectification of data, erasure of data, limitation of the respective treatment, portability of data, opposition, not to remain subject to automated decisions and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
